MEETING

Members Present: William Bailey, Thomas Davis, Ronald Doris, Sue Furnish, Stephen K. Young
Members Absent: Douglas P. Hasler and Mark Isaf
The Regular Meeting of the Board of Education of Paris Union School District No. 95 was held on Thursday, April 2, 2009, 6:00 P.M. at the Superintendent’s Office, members having received proper notice thereof.
I. President Davis called the regular meeting to order.

III Audience to Visitors:
Andy Goodwin announced the Re-Opening and Dedication of Laker Stadium will be held Saturday, April 11th and invited the Board of Education to attend.
President Davis asked for nominations for Member Young to act as chairman pro tem for the meeting, due to his retirement from the board after twenty years of service.
Member Bailey moved and Member Doris seconded to appoint Member Young as Chairman Pro Tem. All members voted in the affirmative and Member Young took over meeting.

V. Secretary’s Report:
Secretary Bailey read and acknowledged a thank you from the Lois Cross family for flowers.
VI. Superintendent’s Agenda:
President Davis presented a clock to Steve Young for his retirement from the Board of Education.
Member Doris moved and Member Davis seconded to employ Clawson, Sanders, Jones, and Roberts as Department Chairs; Scott Dosch as Baseball Coach; and Lauren Knowles as Cheer Sponsor at Mayo Middle School for the 2009-2010 school year.

volunteer baseball coach at

Member Doris moved and Member Davis seconded to approve the contractual agreements for Brenda Rothenberger as Curriculum Director, Warren Sperry as Mayo Assistant Principal, and Kristi Bosc as PIE Art Instructor at Mayo for the 2009-2010 school year.
